Classification
According to the applications and diameters of different tungsten carbide dies, we classify them into five categories.
1. S13 Type Carbide Bar Drawing Die
It is frequently used by major manufacturers to produce bars or rods. It is suitable for ferrous and nonferrous metals. Materials drawn by S13 include steel alloys, aluminum alloys, copper alloys and other alloys.
2. 21 Type Carbide Bar Drawing Die
This type of tungsten carbide die can be utilized for drawing non-ferrous metal, ferrous metal, special-shaped rods and bars, tubes and pipes. It is also used for reducing the wall thickness of pipes.
3. 22 Type Carbide Rod Drawing Die
It is mainly used by major producers for drawing tubes, pipes or bars. Drawn materials for carbide bar drawing die include mild steel, stainless steel and high carbon steel as well as other steel alloys. It is also frequently used to draw softer materials, such as aluminum and copper alloys.
4. 30 Type Carbide Rod Drawing Die
This tungsten carbide die is used to draw bars, rods or tubes by manufacturers. It is suitable for ferrous and nonferrous metals. Materials drawn by it include steel alloys, copper alloys, aluminum alloys and other alloys.
5. 31 Type Carbide Bar Drawing Die
This type of carbide drawing die is mainly used for drawing and producing pipes, tubes and rods of a certain diameter. It is suitable for ferrous and nonferrous metals. Materials drawn by S31 tungsten carbide die include steel alloys, copper alloys, aluminum alloys and other alloys.
